Charges and payment
How much does bike transport from Chandigarh cost?
For a bike up to 150cc, roughly ₹2,700 to ₹3,600 within 500 km (Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida), ₹4,100 to ₹5,700 for 501 to 1,500 km (Ahmedabad), and ₹6,100 to ₹8,400 above 1,500 km (Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Bangalore, Chennai). 151 to 350cc and bigger bikes cost more. These are estimates; the written quote is final. Insurance is extra. See the full rate table on the homepage.
What makes the price go up or down?
The route, bike size and condition, packing and loading needs, fitted accessories and access at both addresses can affect the quote. Mention basement parking, narrow approaches or a non-running bike before the arrangements are confirmed. Compare the total scope rather than only a starting price.
How do I get an exact quote?
Use the quote form, call or WhatsApp with your pickup locality, destination city and PIN code, bike make and model, running condition and preferred date. Request a written quote and check the final addresses and inclusions before booking.
What should the written quote show?
The total, plus each part separately: pickup, packing, loading, transport, delivery, taxes and insurance. It should also show the payment stages, the estimated timing, and anything that could cost extra. If a charge isn't written in the quote, ask about it before you pay.
Is GST included in the charges?
The website figures are indicative transport budgets. Ask for the written quote to state whether packing, pickup, final delivery and applicable taxes are included or charged separately. Insurance is separate.
How do I pay, and how much is paid in advance?
Confirm the accepted payment method, recipient and payment stages in your booking quotation. Keep a receipt for every payment and verify a changed payment request through your known booking contact. Do not share an OTP, PIN or banking password.
Is it cheaper to send two bikes together?
Include both bikes, their models and the pickup and delivery addresses when enquiring. Ask for a combined quote and any separate handling charges. Do not assume a discount or identical pricing for different motorcycles.
Delivery time
How many days does bike transport from Chandigarh take?
The estimate depends on the destination, dispatch schedule, date, road conditions and access. Ask separately for pickup, expected dispatch and the delivery window. Share any joining date or other deadline before confirming; no fixed number of days is advertised for every booking.
How early should I book?
Enquire once you know the likely route and dates, especially if your receiving arrangements are limited. Confirm availability before planning around a pickup slot. If the move is urgent, call with the actual date and destination rather than assuming an online enquiry reserves space.
What if the bike is delayed?
Contact the team with your tracking number and ask for the current stage, next expected step and revised delivery window. Explain if a change affects your receiver or building access. Keep any agreed update in writing.
What if I haven't reached the new city when the bike arrives?
Discuss this before pickup. Ask about changing the delivery date or nominating a receiver, and confirm availability and any charge. Storage or a delayed handover should not be assumed to be included.
Documents, RC and NOC
What documents do I need to send my bike?
Ask for the checklist for your route. Registration, identification and authorisation documents may be requested, depending on the booking. Confirm which copies or originals are needed and the sharing channel. Keep identity documents out of the initial enquiry form.
Do I need an NOC to transport my bike to another state?
Tell the team the registration state, destination and who owns the bike, and request the transport document checklist. For NOC or re-registration questions connected with keeping or using the bike in another state, confirm the requirements with the relevant registering authority. Do not treat a transport quote as confirmation that registration formalities are complete.
Preparing your bike
How should I prepare my bike before pickup?
Make the condition easy to see and take photographs of all sides, existing marks and the odometer. Empty storage spaces, discuss removable accessories and confirm the instructions for fuel, keys and documents. The booking guide has the full checklist.
Should I empty the petrol tank?
Don't fill up before pickup. Our team will tell you how much fuel can stay in the tank when they confirm your pickup.
Can I send my helmet, riding jacket or a bag with the bike?
List the items when enquiring. Confirm whether they are accepted, how they will be packed and recorded, any charge and whether the insurance covers them. Do not add loose luggage at pickup without agreement.
Should I remove the mirrors, top box or crash guard?
Mention fitted accessories and modifications before booking. Ask which parts, if any, should be removed and how they will be protected or recorded. Do not dismantle parts without agreeing the preparation plan for your model.
How do you pack the bike?
Confirm the packing method and materials included for your bike, including protection for panels, mirrors, lights and fitted accessories. Ask how loading and securing will be handled. The agreed arrangement should match the model, condition and quoted scope.
Insurance and damage
How is bike transport insurance charged?
Insurance is 3% of the bike's declared value and is charged separately from transport. If you declare ₹1,00,000, insurance is ₹3,000. The policy is through ICICI Lombard.
What value should I declare?
Confirm the valuation basis with the insurer and check the declared value and insured amount in the issued policy. Ask how loss would be assessed, along with any excess, deductible, exclusions and taxes. A 3% charge alone does not describe the cover or claim settlement.
What do I check when the bike is delivered?
Compare it with your pickup photographs and condition record. Check the listed keys and accessories and document visible concerns at handover. Keep photographs and the delivery record, and report concerns promptly to the team and insurer as required.
How does a damage claim work?
Record the concern and retain your photographs, consignment note, policy and handover documents. Notify the team promptly and follow the insurer’s reporting and survey instructions separately. Acceptance and settlement depend on the issued policy. Read the insurance and damage-claim guide.
Scooty, Royal Enfield, EV and non-running bikes
What is the scooty transport charge from Chandigarh?
Share the exact model and capacity so the appropriate budget band can be checked. For a vehicle up to 150cc, the indicative transport band is ₹2,700–₹3,600 within 500 km and ₹6,100–₹8,400 above 1,500 km. The final quote depends on the locations and handling needs; insurance is separate.
What does a Royal Enfield cost to transport?
For a model with an actual engine capacity of 151–350cc, the indicative band is roughly ₹3,100 to ₹4,300 within 500 km and ₹7,100 to ₹9,800 above 1,500 km. 650cc models and the Himalayan 450 fall in the above-350cc band: roughly ₹4,300 to ₹6,000 within 500 km and ₹9,500 to ₹13,200 above 1,500 km.
Do you transport electric scooters like Ather, Ola or iQube?
You can enquire. Share the model, battery type and battery condition. Acceptance and price are confirmed per vehicle.
My bike doesn't start. Can you still move it?
You can enquire. Explain whether it rolls, steers and brakes, whether a wheel is stuck, and any leaks or other handling concerns. The team must confirm suitability, loading arrangements and price before accepting the move.
Booking, changes and cancellation
Is asking for a quote the same as booking?
No. Nothing is booked until you've seen the written quote and confirmed it.
Can I change the pickup date?
Request the change as early as possible with your booking reference and route. A new date depends on availability. Ask for the revised arrangement and any charge difference to be confirmed before treating the booking as changed.
What if I cancel?
Contact the team with your reference and cancellation request. Charges or refund eligibility depend on the agreed terms and the stage of the move. Ask for the calculation and any costs already incurred to be explained in writing. See the cancellation and refund information.
Is the tracking number a live GPS tracker?
A consignment tracking number is provided for your bike. Use it when requesting status updates and confirm how updates are available for your booking. A tracking number by itself does not establish whether live GPS access is provided.
Areas and routes
Do you pick up from Mohali, Panchkula and Zirakpur?
Yes. We pick up from homes, PGs, hostels and offices across Chandigarh, Manimajra, Mohali, Panchkula and Zirakpur.
Which cities do you deliver to?
Our regular routes from Chandigarh are Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Pune, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Chennai. For another destination, ask the team to confirm availability before booking.
Should I send my bike by train instead?
Compare the full arrangement, including where you hand over and collect the bike, packing, paperwork, insurance and total cost. Confirm railway parcel availability and procedures directly with Indian Railways. For our door-to-door service, confirm the agreed addresses and delivery window with the team.
Two questions when comparing quotations
Why do two routes in the same distance band have different final quotes?
The band is a planning range, not a fixed tariff. Actual addresses, model, running condition, accessories and handling scope can differ. Compare the written totals for the same work and check whether packing, collection, delivery, taxes and insurance are included or separate.
Can I use the transport bill to calculate the 3% insurance charge?
No. The stated 3% charge is calculated from the agreed declared bike value. For example, ₹80,000 × 3% is ₹2,400. The transport price is a separate line. The issued policy and any applicable taxes still need to be checked; the calculation alone does not establish cover or a claim payment.
