Move the bike with a clear receiving plan

For a Hyderabad move, start with two practical details: when the bike is available in the Tricity and where somebody can receive it at the destination. A job location or campus name helps explain the move, but the delivery address still needs to be agreed.

We arrange door-to-door pickup from Chandigarh, Mohali, Panchkula and Zirakpur, with a consignment tracking number. Indicative transport charges are ₹6,100–₹13,200 according to engine band. Insurance is separate.

Chandigarh to Hyderabad bike transport charges

These illustrative transport budgets use our above-1,500 km band for one motorcycle. The written quote confirms the actual price and scope for your booking.

Provide the exact make, model and engine capacity, not only a brand such as Royal Enfield or a model family such as Pulsar. Explain whether it starts, rolls, steers and brakes, and list a top box, crash guard, luggage or other modifications.

Ask whether packing, pickup, transport, final delivery and applicable taxes are included or extra. Electric and non-running vehicles need individual acceptance and price confirmation. Compare the complete amount and handling scope, using the same addresses for every quotation.

Declared value is separate from the transport price

Our insurance charge is 3% of the bike’s declared value. For a declared value of ₹90,000, the charge is ₹2,700, separate from transport. We use ICICI Lombard policies for insurance arrangements.

Confirm the valuation basis, declared and insured amounts, cover, exclusions, deductible and applicable taxes in the issued documents. Do not guess a value just to reduce the charge or assume the full amount is payable for every concern.

Use the locality and PIN code, not just “Hyderabad”

If your enquiry says Gachibowli, Madhapur, Kondapur or the Financial District, also include the actual building, PG or society address and PIN code. An office landmark and a residential handover point may be different.

Kukatpally, Miyapur, Banjara Hills, Jubilee Hills and Uppal are further examples of locality information that helps define the destination. These are not a list of our branches. Confirm coverage and access for your exact address before booking.

If the address is in Secunderabad, state that clearly. For an outer area or a location described by the Outer Ring Road, give the full destination rather than assuming one city quote covers every point. The team needs to check the actual handover and price.

Do the same at pickup: the Chandigarh sector, Mohali locality, Panchkula address or Zirakpur building should match the quotation.

Choose an address where handover can actually happen

A gated apartment or a PG

Check whether security needs advance visitor approval, vehicle details or a named resident to attend. Mention the tower, access point and any basement restriction. If you are still in temporary accommodation, confirm that it can receive and keep the bike.

A tech park or office

Before choosing an office address near HITEC City or another business area, check whether the site permits the handover and whether you can be present. Do not assume an outside vehicle can enter or that a gate handover is automatically possible.

A college or controlled-entry address

Give the complete campus or receiving address and PIN code. An institution’s name alone may not identify the intended gate or accommodation. Confirm the site’s entry rules with the responsible contact, then agree a suitable handover point with the transport team.

A representative receiving for you

Share their details in advance and check authorisation requirements. Give them your pickup photographs and accessory list, not just the tracking number. They should know which keys and items are expected and how to report a concern.

Fit delivery around joining and accommodation dates

Share a joining date, course reporting date or lease start before confirming transport. Ask for the collection slot, expected dispatch and delivery window; no fixed number of days is advertised for every Hyderabad booking.

If you will reach Hyderabad before the bike, plan how you will travel locally until the agreed delivery window. If you arrive later, nominate a suitable receiver or discuss another arrangement before pickup. Storage or a delayed handover should not be assumed to be included.

Scheduling, road conditions, weather and destination access can affect the move. Use the consignment number to ask which stage has been reached and what the next expected step is. Confirm any revised address or receiving time with the team.

Check Telangana vehicle-use requirements separately

Ask the team for the transport document checklist and agreed sharing channel. Registration, identity and authorisation documents may be requested for the particular booking.

If you will keep or use an out-of-state registered bike in Telangana, check any registration, NOC and tax requirements with the relevant transport authority. A transport quotation does not confirm that those formalities are complete or that an exemption applies.

Keep four records within reach

1. The written quote: addresses, model, scope, charges, payment stages and timing.
2. Your own photographs: all sides, existing marks, relevant accessories and the odometer before pickup.
3. The handover record: condition and the agreed keys, documents and accessories sent.
4. The consignment number: use it with your route when requesting updates.

Keep insurance documents and receipts with these where applicable. At delivery, compare the bike with the pickup record, document visible concerns and notify the team promptly. Follow the insurer’s reporting requirements separately.

“Not running” needs a little more detail

When asking for a Hyderabad quote, explain what the bike can and cannot do. “Battery down” and “wheel locked” describe different collection problems, even if neither bike starts.

Describe known problems without attempting a repair just to make a pickup possible. Acceptance, loading arrangements and price for a non-running bike must be settled beforehand. If the condition changes after the quote, tell the team before the collection slot.

For an electric scooter, include the model and battery condition as well. Do not guess the transport charge or battery preparation from the petrol-bike bands.
